Don't believe any bad reviews! I brought my mom here to see the Eclipse and she is really funny about what hotel she stays at. This was the only room we could find being we made a last min. decision to come down here. Now let me just tell you we were both surprised by how nice our room here was for the affordable price we paid. The room was very clean. There was a fridge, microwave, dinner table and wide screen TV in our room. The bed slept wonderful, in fact we wished our beds were that comfortable!! The housekeepers and staff here were very nice. And if you don't feel like driving out Pizza Hut is just 2 buildings over. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kudos for a job well done!

Went to the bathroom a couple of hours later and there were a couple of roaches on the wall. They looked at me like "yeah, we're in here". I couldn't sleep very well after that. I was one roach detail. I placed all the luggage on top of me cigarette stained table.
The worst sleep EVER. They need better pillows. The pillows are flat and awful.

At checkout I was told that the roaches like to hang out in the back area because of the marsh that we did not see upon arrival.
I called and I was greeted by the evening clerk who was very cordial and nice. Arriving at this location I entered the lobby and immediately there was a smell of incense. We got checked in and giving a room at the lower rear of the building. I was the first to enter. The smell of cigarette smoke was infused in the room the drapes the bed the walls the carpet. I used Lysol spray to disinfect everything but the smell was still there. The air conditioning was the best part of the room it worked perfectly. The refrigerator did not work. The shower was nice and hot with a massaging flow. The bathroom toilet that a little low and didn't flush very well I had to use buckets of water from the trash can to help the waste disappear.
Unfortunately, one of the worst lodging experience. I was desperate to find a place for myself and family to stay while traveling to Myrtle Beach. Everything was sold out due to a shag Festival.
Despite booking non-smoking rooms five months ahead of time, I was still stuck in a smoking room in a sold-out motel (the night before the 2017 eclipse). In addition, the bathroom wasn't completely clean, and the wifi was unavailable in my room. Completely unacceptable. The only reason I'm rating it two stars is that the front-desk clerk was friendly and human, despite working in a dump. Avoid this motel unless you have no other alternative.
ROACHES!
I would give this zero stars if I could. There is dried blood in the sheets in my room. The front desk won't issue a refund. The smell in the room is horrible. Front desk did offer a different room but baring no blood not much better. I took pictures and I'm reporting this to anyone who will listen.
